Coco's is full of Indie goodness at the mo.
Local Indie artist Vicki Linn has two works adorning my walls. They look magic!
I have been folding paper cranes and turning them into mobiles and on the bottom they say "I wish you peace" in French.
Just recieved deliveries from Rummage, crowns ( see we'll eat you up- from the Wild Things of course), peggies and smashing vintage tea towel cushions. All deliciously different if your looking for wonderful Christmas presents. And another delivery from the queen of Indie Boardies- no mass produced, run of the mill here, no sirre. Wicked fabrics is ALL Miss Miffy uses - come in and check them out!

Crafty Tuesday

Such  a productive day... 12 bath tea bags, they smell divine, filled with lavender from my garden

....12 large cards for the store

  12 friendship teas, 10 lots of inspirational bunting , 20 lunch box lovin' cards, 4 new singlets,

and some candy cane mice...and the day's not over yet!!

Sky rockets in flight......afternoon delight.... look what my Mum found me on her recent road trip out to Blayney and surrounds. Apparently there is a few groovy wee little shops in the village of Milthorpe- all of which Vicki, Sue and Sharon can sniff out from miles away!! True die hard shoppers indeed.

The first is an old French book- so very cool, if only I could read French without my iphone, I may have to phone a friend on this one. The second is an amazingly old undrawn in sketch book with an awesome Elk on the back. My dilemma  Shall I draw in it??? I so want too BUT it is just beautiful and oooh so old.......................what to do, what to do......

I can finger knit...

thanks to receiving the latest edition of Mixtapezine which is of course now instore, there is a little tutorial on how to teach your child to finger knit and because Mr.Magoo and Miss.Muffet are becoming regular sales staff at Coco's Closet we require cool little projects that are doable for the two of them. Here's what I did, bit happy with that.
We'll wait and see how the sales staff handle the class. I'll keep you posted.

WWW and Olivia the New...

I haven't played for a while but here's my watcha wearing Wednesday. It's Olivia the Vintage Summer print owl brooch. I of course am wearing her on red leather around my neck. I have a limited amount of this fabric and she'll be flying into Coco's Closet along with her large softie pal in the same fabric. I think they are ooooh so hootilious, whadya reckon????

Giftwrapped

Finally I found tools to carve the way cool stamp blocks I got from Dudley Redhead at the show. And wacko whadya know I can carve stamps. So here's my reindeer bonus for you if you swing on into to Coco's Closet I can gift wrap all your christmas purchases (purchases from Coco's of course).

Sprinkling Christmas

Sorry for the ordinary photos, my window is tinted so it's not great for photo op's however Christmas and the silly season has dropped into Coco's Closet. Now I know it's the silly season but really I am prone to the silly season all year round, he'll my life my be one big silly season!
If you happen to pop in I have christmas gift bags that inspire and also take the hassle out of your wrapping, like things that go together but not too matchy, then look no further gift cards in French even sometimes I just astound myself knowing another language!!! LOL.
Stella's brothers and sisters are in full swing inthe window and I've heard at night they play the soundtrack to Mumma Mia til all hours.
I made red trees yesterday to hang some decorations and the photos don't do them justice but they look groovy.
I also made a jam jar snow globe which was a cool craft for me and the kids. All you need is a clean jar with a metal screw top lid, glue an ornament to the lid(my impatience I used super glue) and make sure the glass will fit over the ornament, don't use a metal one- rust and all that, wait for the glue to dry. Fill the glass jar with distilled water, a little glitter(don't go overboard here people- less is more) and a drop of glycerin(it helps the glitter fall slowly) screw your lid back on the jar and wahla you have your very own snow globe. Way cool! Plus you can put your own spin on it however you like, they look so much more spec when you've done it yourself. Will post my picture of our girl later.

Artist Market

All set, good to go. Rain needs to stay away pleeeeeeease.
I bought some Christmas decorations with me and they will be in store next week. It's a bit early to think about how many sleeps but I know it's just around the corner!!!!

Mrs Shepherd's is now in Store

These Nymphettes from Mrs.Shepherd have taken up residency in Coco's Closet. Gertrude and Wilfred are bound to lead Stella astray....Just get a look at their cheeky wee lil' smirks. Aren't they fabulous??? they are both two very different gals. They have been lovingly hand painted by Mrs.Shep herself and I am so proud to be stocking them.

Psssst.... I have some uber cool, totally awesome original artwork by Mrs. Shep too. It is the best. It looks amazing hung in the store, I love it all.... to bits. (will take some snaps and give you a look)
